As often happens, I discovered the concept of “inzet” just as I was struggling to define a new vision. I first heard the word from my good friend Jan Zachariasse (who is Dutch).  A light went off and inzet seemed to sum up what I’d been looking for: a strategy to help my consulting clients achieve not just immediate operational efficiencies, but long-lasting change in their organizations — and in their lives.

Jan had recently stepped away from a 25-year career in commercial real estate to become a certified coach, through Georgetown’s Leadership Coaching Program. Just as I felt that a “heart-mind-soul strategy” was part of my vision, Jan saw the opportunity to add my operational strengths to the coach-and-counsel model he’d been considering.

Eight months later, here we are — launching a company named Inzet LLC and using a holistic coach, counsel and consult model to help clients assess the past, re-frame their current narrative to get “unstuck,” and set off into a purpose-filled future.

I’d love to tell you more about the programs we’ve built. Give me a call at 703-819-5032!
